Care Instructions
Succulent Care
Place your succulent in a well-lit room or window.
Water your succulent arrangements about every 7-10 days. One tablespoon of water at the base of each plant should suffice.
If your succulents start looking pale or leggy, they're asking for more sunlight!
Yellow, soggy leaves are a sign of overwatering. Let the soil dry out more in between waterings. Each succulent arrangement is unique, so when in doubt, wait until the soil is dry to touch before watering.
Some dry leaves at the base of your succulents is normal and a sign that they are still growing! If you want, you can gently remove these.
Air Plant Care
Air plants need bright, indirect light. Choose a brightly illuminated space that gets sun for most of the day.
Try to avoid too much direct light —you don’t want to fry your air plant!
The higher the humidity in your space, the more light is tolerated by the air plant. So if they get lots of sun, they'll need to be watered more.
Every one to two weeks, soak your air plant in room temperature tap water for 5-10 minutes.
After soaking gently shake excess water from your plant. Turn it upside down and place it on a towel in a bright space. This is very important! Air plants will quickly rot if they are allowed to stand in excess water.
Do all watering in the morning. Evening soaking or misting disrupts the plant's ability to respire overnight and extends drying time.
Signs of under-watering your air plant include the leaf tips turning brown or crispy.
If the base of the plant starts to turn brown or black it's been overwatered and will unfortunately likely succumb to rot.
Living Rock (Lithop) Care
Lithops go into dormancy in the winter, old leaves wither and regrow in the spring, and they go into a second dormancy during the summer before flowering in the fall.
Lithops need bright light. Ensure the plants get four to five hours of direct sunlight each day and partial shade the rest of the time.
Too much harsh, direct sunlight can burn the plants.
You can tell if your plant is not getting enough sunlight if the leaves start to lose their pattern or become elongated in shape.
Water them sparingly! Lithops store water for months in their leaves.
During their dormant periods in Summer & Winter you don’t need to water them at all.
During growth periods when the plant is growing new leaves or flowering, water every two weeks or when the soil is thoroughly dry.
You can tell if you’re overwatering because the plant will become soft and puffy.
